Eve Mori

Head of Art Hour, Theatre teacher

Eve Mori is a senior in the Theater Department at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She has been acting since 11 years old, and she is now exploring into the art world as a creator - writing, directing, producing films and plays. She started as a theater teacher, then worked as an officer under Assistant Director of Communication, to becoming the Director of Programming, to now being the President. Eve hopes the Art Hour continues forever since she is eager and believes it is very important that every kid has the opportunity to be exposed to explore and study art as early as possible.

Hera Farago

Director of Outreach, Vice President

Hera Farago is a current Senior in the Cinematic Arts Department at the LA County High School for the Arts. Over the years, she has been involved in many social justice and arts education advocacy programs, both inside and outside of school. Hera has always shown interest in art, including vocal and instrumental music, dance, and her most current passion, filmmaking. She hopes to someday soon become a professional film producer, and to use that platform to influence future generations and advocate for young artists everywhere through her work. Now entering her third year working on the executive board of The Art Hour, she is excited to continue what this program does best; helping and inspiring the next generation of artists!

Amelia McGovern

Director of Communication Visual Arts Teacher, Theatre Teacher

Amelia is a senior at the Los Angeles County High School for the arts. She is passionate about sculpture and all things fine arts. Amelia has been a part of The Art Hour since her sophomore year where she spent her summer volunteering as the head of in person art classes. More than anything she wants to spread her love for art to all.

Reilly Jacquemin

Director of Media

Reilly Jacquemin is a junior at Marlborough, who has been passionate for the arts ever since a young age. She grew up doing musical theatre at the Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she now interns at. Her interest from theatre also expanded to film acting around the age of 8. Acting has always been her biggest focus and she has devoted a lot of time to practicing her craft. In addition to interning at YADA, she is a part of the audition-based ensemble theatre program at her school, and she also enjoys writing scripts in her free time. Overall, Reilly is so excited to be a part of the Art Hour and share her passion with everyone to help each individual grow as an actor!!!

Lindsey Weatherspoon

Director of Recruitment and Relations

Lindsey is a senior at Venice High School, where she participates in the Magnet Engineering program.  Lindsey works with the ACLU Youth Liberty Squad and the Arts in LA student organizing program. Participation in these groups allow Lindsey to combine her passion of social issues and art. Through school based art programs Lindsey fostered her love for playing the guitar and the piano. Although she participated in school based programs she  recognized the disadvantage and inequities  of art programs in public education.Her desire is to further expand the Art Hours outreach and community connections.

Chelsea Chiu

Chelsea Chiu is a vocals student at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. Through her years of vocal training, she has been introduced to various genres of music including classical, jazz, pop, musical theatre, and gospel. Chelsea has won titles in the VOCE Voice Festival, the CMEA All State Festival, and SCVA Voice Competition while performing as a National Anthem Singer for multiple LA sports teams. Chelsea is thrilled to be a part of the Art Hour and looks forward to sharing her passion with future artists!



Andrea Ramirez Romo

Andrea Ramirez Romo is currently studying Cinematic Arts at the Los Angeles County High school for the Arts. Overall she has been studying film for going on six years. She loves partaking in every single part of the filmmaking process, from producing, writing, directing and editing. She has had her films at multiple film festivals, and loves to help out on her friends' sets whenever she has the chance. She is very excited to be able to teach people about the magic of cinema, as it's truly one of her favorite things in the world! In her free time she hangs out with her dog, listens to music, cooks, and watches TV (and movies, of course!)

Taylor Lee

Taylor Lee is an award-winning jazz pianist that has received numerous awards namely the Music Center Spotlight Merit Award & numerous Stanford Jazz Workshop awards. He currently is in the Impulse & Columbia combo at LACHSA and has worked with musicians such as Wycliffe Gordon, Peter Stoltzman, Alex Hahn, Daniel Rotem, Edwin Livingston, and Anthony Fung.

Aunika Hoch

Aunika Hoch has always loved to preform. Whether it was on the stage or at home, she has always loved to make people laugh. She has had training in multiple different arts fields and can’t wait to share her experience with you.

Samantha Reavis

Samantha Reavis is a pianist and composer,  extremely passionate about classical music education for today's youth. Winning competitions like the MTAC contemporary festival and Southern California Junior Bach Festival, Samantha has proved to be an extremely versatile pianist with a vast musical repertoire.   Samantha also attends Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, and composes for many of her colleagues' projects through a wide range of disciplines.  With a keen interest in music history, from the early ages up to modern atonality, Samantha is extremely excited to join The Art Hours' Team and lead the Music through the Ages class! 



Amanda Ikino

Amanda Ikino is a senior Cinematic Arts student at LACHSA. She is an aspiring screenwriter, having written and produced various short films. She was also runner-up in the Regent’s International Screenwriting Contest. Amanda is also an animator and story artist for student films. She loves the art of film and visual storytelling and is very excited to share her knowledge and help students and future artists grow at The Art Hour!

Chloe Flaherty

Chloe is a junior at LACHSA where she studies visual arts. She spends most of her days taking photos, reading, and studying philosophy. In her future she hopes to dive deeper into cinematography and film in New York. She is excited to join the Art Hour team and share her artistic passion!

Emma Tio

Emma Tio is a Los Angeles County High School music department student who has been studying classical piano for about 9 years. She has won numerous competitions such as SYMF, Bach festival, Great Composer International Competition, American Protege International Competition, and more. She has also performed at Carnegie Hall. She has been in Junior Chamber Music for 3 years and has played in trios, quartets, duets, as well as touching on Jazz and playing with big bands and combos. 

Nico Brouwer

Nico Brouwer is an instrumental music senior at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. He began playing classical flute at a young age and has since developed a love for songwriting, composition, and music production as well. Fusing his classical training and an interest in popular music, Nico has recorded and released many collections of original music. He has also played in many classical ensembles including the World Youth Wind Symphony at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Verdugo Youth Orchestra. Working at The Art Hour, Nico is eager to share his love for all musical styles to help others develop their own unique artistic voice.

Elise Rodriguez

Elise is currently a junior at LACHSA studying theatre. She has been doing theatre since she was 9 years old. She also has experience in music and is currently involved with her schools gospel choir. She loves both singing and acting and is excited to work with the art hour.

Jace Izuno

Jace Izuno is a fourth-year theatre student at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), with a minor in Musical Theatre. Acting since the age of 7, Jace starred in the short film KAAWAY (ENEMY) in the lead role of "Jonathan," and guest starred as "Jubei" in Warner Bros' MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY II. He next stars in director Ryan Moore's short film WHEN WE DANCED in the lead role of "Michael." A classically trained singer, Jace marks his 10th year in the Grammy Award-winning NATIONAL CHILDREN'S CHOIR, where he is a Scholar Baritone. Jace has performed on stage in theatres across the country including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and more. Last summer, he performed at the Greek Theatre as a guest vocalist with Caroline Polachek. Jace enjoys singing, playing guitar and ukulele, and working on his third-degree black belt in taekwondo. He lives in Los Angeles with his parents and younger brother.

Elle Lepe

Elle Lepe is a Vocals major at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She is a part of The Opera Company at LACHSA and is studying courses such as Music Theory, Concert Choir, as well as Songwriting. In her free time she enjoys writing and recording music.

Maya Desousa

Maya is a senior in the theatre and musical theatre department at LACHSA. She is a lover of all things creative and has a passion for helping develop that love in others, as well as teaching others the skills, techniques, and freedom to pursue their artistic passions. She is a 2022 Spotlight Music Center Acting Semifinalist and has appeared in numerous theatre productions at LACHSA and locally. She is excited to be returning as a teacher to The Art Hour!

Marielle Rose

Marielle Rose is a senior theater major at LACHSA. She enjoys spending time with loved ones and going to the beach. Her ultimate goal is to be a writer/director of all things comedy!

Sophia Garcia

Sophia Garcia is a Salvadoran American dance student at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and a violinist for the LA Phil’s Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (“YOLA”). She is a well rounded artist who also enjoys drawing, painting, making polymer clay jewelry, and sewing. Coming from an underprivileged community herself, she has experienced firsthand the disparities of underserved schools and is excited to be joining the Art Hour in their mission. She hopes she can provide a fun space for young children to find a way to express themselves through art and dance.  

Alex Delgado

Alex is currently a junior in the Theatre/Technical Theatre department, but his main focus is technical theatre. He enjoys playing guitar and jamming out with his friends, playing video games, skateboarding, creating sets, sound designing, and stage managing. Alex is stoked to be able to put his technical skills to work hopefully being able to inspire others like his mentors did for him.

Michaela Ramirez

Michaela Ramirez is a Senior Dance major at Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She has been studying dance for about 10 years, mainly rooted in classical, modern and contemporary but trains in all dance styles. Having performed as a soloist in the LACHSA Dance Spring Concert excerpt of José Limón’s “Missa Brevis” and participated in multiple community outreach events with Debbie Allen Dance Academy performing at the Forum, Hollywood Bowl, and Academy Museum. She hopes to bring her love of dance to youth who may not have access as she feels it is a valuable art form that can teach self-expression, exploration, and vital life skills.

Olivia Bluming

Olivia Bluming has always had an extreme fondness and admiration for clever design and uncanny imagery, an interest that she is so grateful has been fueled further by the Visual Arts department at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts where she’s now studied for a full three years. Throughout her experience at LACHSA thus far, she’s designed logos for her peers as well as posters for various department shows. Her work tends to jump back and forth between different fine art techniques while edging into graphic design territory, and she particularly enjoys twisting together qualities from both artistic mediums. She is so happy to be a part of the Art Hour Community and share what she knows so far!

Lia Tompkins

Lia Tompkins has always had a passion for sharing her love of music. She is currently a senior at New Roads school, where she was awarded for Artistic Excellence in Music. She has been training in classical and jazz violin since 7 years old, as well as contemporary and jazz vocals, for which she is a California Arts Scholar. She enjoys singing in as well as playing in the pit orchestra for musicals, performing in jazz and pop combos, and producing her own music through MIDI sequencing. She is thrilled to be a part of the Art Hour community and to help young musicians grow their abilities and interest in all music has to offer!

Jem Lawler

Jem Lawler is currently a senior at the LA County High School for the Arts studying theatre. They have been both acting and singing since the age of 8 and are excited to share their love of the arts with everyone.

Hadley Granger

Hadley Granger is a vocal student at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. She has worked in music her whole life, including musical theater, pop, classical, jazz and gospel. Hadley has received awards from Youngarts and Spotlight voice competitions and has gotten far in casting for broadway, the voice, and AGT. She’s been songwriting 7 years, and has completed a course with professional songwriter Courtney Fortune earning top marks. She has produced and released 4 of her original songs so far! Hadley is excited to be apart of The Art Hour and looks forward to sharing her knowledge of the arts.
